This year, Austin City Limits was a sea of glitter, fishnets and cowboy boots. Between the multitude of sun-protecting head scarves and colorful hair accessories, the festival was filled with unique attire and expressive fashion choices.

In the online fashion community, possessing a closet full of “Pinterest-worthy” outfits has become a coveted status symbol, but not everybody has the skill to bring that style off of Pinterest, and into the real world. Chandler, Ariz., sophomore Audrey Savage has created a business to do just that for the students of Baylor, and beyond.

If you’re eager to know what some of the most commonly-spotted looks will be at Zilker Park this year — whether that’s to try out these fun trends or to avoid them and stand out from the crowd — here is a brief fashion forecast.

Homecoming weekend is one of the most stand-out traditions at Baylor. Whether you’re attending the parade, watching the bonfire, or front row at the football game, choosing the perfect outfit is key. You get to express yourself and your identity among your fellow students, all while celebrating the history of your future alma mater.

Adding green powder to your diet won’t instantly make you lose weight, and adopting a keto diet can take several months to see any progress. But influencers appear to have never looked better, often thanks to Photoshop, steroid use or medical treatments like Ozempic, which makes this whole weight loss phenomenon pretty misleading.

Our generation loves to hate on iPad kids, when in reality, we’re all just iPhone adults. How many times a week do you sit down on the couch, open TikTok and start scrolling? Scars that tell either really silly or super cool stories. Smile lines that show we’ve enjoyed the time we have had. Aging is inevitable, but some spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to prevent it. Why do we still try to preserve something that we know is so fleeting?

Another thing they have in common is the spilling problem. Stanley cups leak when you just tip it just a tad. Although Hydro Flasks are clearly the better product, my biggest spilling problem is from that. I have had so many days where my backpack has been soaked from the bottle spilling everywhere.

I see Golden Gooses everywhere on Baylor’s campus. They are a trend that can’t be ignored. I encourage everyone to use their money to buy whatever makes them happy and confident, but as for myself, I will not be partaking in this fashion statement.
