The Heart of Texas Regional History Fair held its annual competition Thursday morning at The Bill Daniel Student Center holding over 100 student competitors from 11 schools in the surrounding counties.
“It’s been such an awesome process and a blessing to work with them,” Christensen said. “Chi Omega is passionate about Sing, and it has been so fun to come together with a fraternity that loves it just as much as we do.”
“I always like to say our fraternity is the ‘best of both worlds.’ You get everything you can ask for from a social organization with a small-family feel,” Carlsbad, Calif., and Alpha Kappa Psi president Jason Nacario said.
On Tuesday Kappa Delta Chi — a Baylor sorority that represents the Latina community — had a carnation flower sale to celebrate Valentine’s Day and raise money to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Baylor chapter’s philanthropy.
“We are to continue the fight, to continue to stand up for our rights,” Henry said. “The work of any justice organization is ongoing. The fight never stops because the people who would deny other people their rights in all kinds of forms never stop attempting to do that.”
