Each year, Baylor recognizes a handful of outstanding and accomplished alumni with its Alumni Awards. Long before the winners are announced, there is an extensive selection process that takes place behind the scenes.
Today, Dia is known for hosting a plethora of on-campus events for students, and is also typically used as an opportunity for students to get off campus and spend time with friends. This year’s Dia started off with an intramural tournament at 9 a.m., featuring games such as wiffleball, pickleball, cornhole and archery tag.
With a new body comprising the Chamber of Commerce this year, and new people behind the scenes organizing the events, this year’s celebration included new aspects like all-day live music and animals on campus.
A new season of the ‘Good Neighbear’ podcast is promoting understanding and appreciation for a diverse range of identities — racial, religious and more. By sharing “stories of hope and healing,” the podcast creates a space for respectful dialogue and community-building.
