On a dark Halloween night, a crescent moon hung low overhead as an autumnal breeze blew costumed concertgoers like Cruella de Vil, Spider-Man and Princess Peach to Jones Concert Hall for a Halloween Organ Concert that was sure to cause Waco’s ghosts and ghouls to stir.

Halloween weekend is quickly approaching, and what better way to get into the spirit than a spooky playlist? The A&L staff has compiled our favorite Halloween anthems into an easily accessible playlist for any of your weekend festivities.

Nothing can measure up to the moment I first listened to “The 1975” in eighth grade and had my brain chemistry permanently altered. It was full of angst perfect for a 13-year old with a wardrobe of mostly black clothing from Forever 21.

Day two’s performances felt longer than day one’s, but they were still exciting. I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to muster up the strength to attend day three, but maybe the promise of seeing Paramore, PINKPANTHERESS, The Marias and 6lack will motivate me.
