“Our chapter motto is brotherhood above all,” Meck said. “Our purpose is putting together something that we’re proud of and to have fun with. And we hope that the audience will have fun with us and be entertained by what we put together.”

Playing the comparison game seems inevitable, and it probably is. However, it’s simply not fair to you or to those you may be comparing yourself to. So, what if you were to reframe those thoughts into something more constructive and meaningful?

Living for the future is a deeply rooted mantra younger generations live by, and the pressure to do so creates a methodical way of life. With quickly developing technology, we all have the chance to catch up with one another and view content from around the world within seconds. What about living in the now?
“We tied everything together… by talking about how we really need to focus on our strengths, how we can take the things that bring us the most joy and… let that flow into our classrooms and what we do in the classrooms,” Clark-Goff said.
The ultimate goal is to ensure that students, faculty and staff feel like they belong and have a trusted community, Cain-Darough said. If they don’t feel that sense of belonging, they have no reason to stay, and the same is true for everyone on the Baylor campus.
Take your time. Learn what you like and what you are good at. Fail early and often. That way, we might actually have it all figured out in our 30s.
Begin to prioritize implementing the values and characteristics you desire to practice so you’re always confident you are showing others the version of yourself you’re most proud of.

Not all resolutions are too much to take on. Instead of setting long term goals, focus on the short term steps required to get there.
School might be over by then but we should still set goals for ourselves on our days off.
Each semester, it seems this is the time the academic train I have been riding starts to slow down. For three-and-a-half months I have chugged along and am now running out of steam, barely coasting with the little momentum I have built up thus far.
I am ready to call it quits but know I cannot. With my GPA playing such a vital role in retaining scholarships and gaining entrance into study abroad programs, I cannot afford to give out now.
