As an eager high school journalist, Dr. Torie Johnson came to Baylor with dreams of being the next anchor for Sports Center. 20 years later, after gaining experience in the Southland Conference and Southeastern Conference, she is returning home.
Roanoke senior and club internal vice president Lauren Nealy has been a member of CBL since her freshman year. She said she was originally a biology major on the pre-med track because she thought that in order to do ministry, she had to be involved in medical aid; she has since switched to accounting.
Two Baylor students stepped up to the leash when the opportunity to train guide dogs for the blind appeared. Now, years after they first began volunteering, they encourage others to partake in the first steps of the guide dogs’ careers as puppy raisers.
