This March, Cameron Park Zoo introduced four new camels and two new ostriches to the zoo community. The staff hopes to encourage hands-on care and compassion for these animals to inspire a heart for conservation and animal activism in younger generations of zoo-goers.

Baylor golf alum Johnny Keefer competed in his first Masters tournament this weekend. Keefer commenced the event with the first drive of the opening round.
Entering the ninth inning tied 3-3, Baylor strung together five runs to top Cincinnati 8-3, earning their only win of the series.
Baylor softball was walked off by Kansas in a crucial series finale Saturday, 5-4, marking the Bears’ third consecutive Big 12 series loss.
The Bears grabbed the doubles point and early energy, but TCU’s depth showed as the Horned Frogs swept the opening sets and closed out a 4–1 win. The loss ends Baylor’s five‑match home streak and tightens the race heading into the Big 12 Championships.

The Texas Food Truck Showdown celebrated its 10th anniversary this Saturday at Heritage Square. The festivities kicked off at 10 a.m., with 37 food trucks with offerings ranging from sweet treats to birria.
