The Office of Transfer Student Success offers notable resources to help transfer students get involved in the Baylor community and achieve success in academics. Its main purpose is to combat transfer shock by providing events and meetings to support them from arrival to graduation.
The search for scholarships can be overwhelming, but with the Scholarship Universe tool, Baylor students have a one-stop shop to find scholarships tailored to them.
Since 1991, Baylor Law School has been under the leadership of Dean — now Dean Emeritus — Brad Toben. After 31 years in the role, Toben announced his decision to return to the law school faculty, and as announced in November, Counseller will succeed Toben effective July 1.
Center for Global Engagement ambassadors provide resources and mentorship for international students all year round. Ambassadors help put on initiatives and events for international students and are focused on welcoming them and connecting them to the Baylor community.
Baylor student government is aiming to support college students and campus organizations who exhibit leadership skills with its new leadership development grants. The application is open to students and organizations who are under 25 years old and wish to further pursue their ambitions with additional funding. The deadline to apply is May 31.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.

The low hum of steel guitars and neon-lit nostalgia will soon echo through Foster Pavilion. On Oct. 2, Baylor will trade sneakers and basketballs for cowboy boots and two-stepping when rising country artist Braxton Keith brings his high-and-lonesome Texas sound to Waco with the “Real Damn Deal” tour.
To me, the test gives you much more than just a number. The results and the description of the personality types helps to provide some context as to why people act the way they do.
My first plea is to today’s student body to learn to listen to one another, to understand, and to empathize.
Public comments like those made by the guest lecturer promote and sustain that culture of intolerance, hatred and ultimately violence.
