This realization that Charkalis’ journey isn’t too different from many of her peers’ seems to be a source of comfort. Charkalis said her goal is to bring a sense of community to the journey. She said when you aren’t alone in your walk with mental health, there seems to be far greater hope.

Their new season will feature the family of Justin Bibles, who was murdered in front of a Red Lobster resturant in Waco in 2018, and a highlight on the Waco ISD school board.
“Greek life is so different at Baylor compared to other schools — we have spring recruitment, no houses, heavy influence of religion and specifically, Baylor vernacular and fashion trends,” Olson said.
The infamous “no-makeup” makeup look has been trending across social media platforms. It is under the umbrella of the “clean girl aesthetic” that has become very popular. It can be easy to compare or feel left out when you see influencers creating these looks and living this clean/aesthetic lifestyle, but truthfully, it’s easy to achieve.
“I was taught that beauty is about perfecting the artist’s self-disappearance, cutting off the things we’re born with in order to be seen. Our individuality and self-emulation is beauty,” Alok said. “Beauty is about becoming yourself. There is no beauty standard.”
At the end of the day, these accounts are helping students embrace a side of themselves that may have once been made fun of by their peers.
