A Baylor Kappa Kappa Gamma member wore a full-face black purge mask to the sorority’s annual new member event, “Kappa Kappa Goth,” in the bowling alley of the Bill Daniel Student Center. Members were encouraged to attend the event in goth-themed attire.

Kappa Kappa Gamma hosted its annual Kappa Karnival Thursday night, complete with an extensive lineup of vendors, carnival food, caricature artists, face painting, fraternity-run carnival games and more. The event concluded with the inaugural Karnival Afterparty featuring “Cool Kids” artist Echosmith.

With a diverse college campus like Baylor comes a wide variety of fashion choices. As a newbie to the tradition hype that is All-University Sing, it certainly has been interesting to observe the Baylor culture in this way: guys in eyeliner studying in the library, girls complaining about late nights and the overarching sense of competition in the fresh February air.
