Men's Basketball
After four injury-riddled years donning the green and gold, Baylor men’s basketball redshirt junior guard Langston Love entered his name into the transfer portal Monday afternoon. Jeff Goodman was the first to report.
Projected No. 1 NBA Draft pick Flagg (18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists) and Tyrese Proctor (25 points, 7-for-8 on 3-pointers) starred as the Blue Devils blew by the Bears 89-66.
The Bears dominated the offensive glass, 15-7, in the first-round victory. They’ll advance to play Duke on Sunday.
Women's Basketball
Early on No. 4 Baylor women’s basketball junior forward Bella Fontleroy’s career head coach Nicki Collen quickly identified her unique defensive poise. From taking charges to blocking shots Fontleroy set out at the beginning of the year to strengthen her defensive game and better understand opponent tendencies.
The fourth-seeded Bears (27-7, 15-3 Big 12) will open the 2025 NCAA Tournament at 2:30 p.m. Friday against No. 13 seed Grand Canyon (32-2, 16-0 WAC) at Foster Pavilion.

Tennis
No. 16 Baylor men’s tennis took care of business, dominating their Sunday doubleheader, winning 4-1 over Oklahoma State and 7-0 over Prairie View A&M at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.
The win marked the Bears’ fourth consecutive road win in Big 12 play.
The Bears won 4-0 in their first indoor Big 12 home match of the season.
Golf

Baylor women’s golf finished tied for third in the Veritex Bank Texas Showdown on Tuesday after a strong showing on day one, which helped the Bears find poll position and win the stroke-play portion. The Bears finished match-play with a 5-1 loss to SMU in Tuesday’s morning session and followed that up with a 2.5-2.5 tie against UCF on at the Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas.
Baylor men’s golf wrapped up the All-American Intercollegiate with an eighth-place finish, thanks to a 3-over 291 on Tuesday at The Golf Club of Houston.
