The fall sports slate continues to rev up as Baylor soccer and volleyball catch fire early in the season and football enters its first game week.
No. 21 Baylor Volleyball took care of business this weekend going 3-0 at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic to open the year undefeated.
After two early goals from both teams, the Bears scored two unanswered in the second half to beat Pepperdine 3-1. The win marks the second in a row for the Bears and the fourth nonconference win of the season.
After dropping a game to No. 21 Texas State, the Bears headed down to Austin on a rainy day, leading to a delayed kickoff. The Bears were able to storm back with two unanswered goals to outlast Texas 2-1 Thursday night.
With a mix of the old and the new, No. 21 Baylor volleyball looks to make its 11th straight NCAA Tournament this year by keeping each other accountable.
