On Jan. 10, Frisco freshman Davis Ovard placed fourth in the 2024 Saguaro Amateur. The young golfer has been putting in the hours to better himself with each tournament, but the motivation to continuously improve in competition didn’t happen overnight.
Taking a break from the frigid temperatures in Waco, Baylor women’s golf opened the 2024 season with a fourth-place finish at the Match in the Desert on Monday at Superstition Mountain Golf Club in Superstition Mountain, Ariz.
Closing out the fall under clear Hawaiian skies, No. 15 Baylor men’s golf finished strong with a third-place finish at the Kapolei Invitational on Thursday at Kapolei Golf Club.
