On the same night she was honored for scoring 1,000 career points, junior forward Darianna Littlepage-Buggs picked up her 10th double-double of the year, leading all players with a season-high 26 points and 15 rebounds to push Baylor women’s basketball past BYU 83-71 Saturday evening at the Foster Pavilion.
Baylor women’s basketball rattled off its third straight win Wednesday night, rolling past Houston 92-47 at the Fertitta Center. The Bears’ 45-point victory matches their largest margin of victory over a Big 12 opponent since Feb. 9, 2022.

Tennis
After sweeping Sunday’s doubleheader, Baylor men’s tennis looks to keep building momentum as it hits the Midwest for its first road trip of the season. The Bears will face Nebraska at 6 p.m. Friday in Lincoln and No. 4 Ohio State at noon Sunday in Columbus.
Today, Dong is a freshman sensation at Baylor, 3-0 in singles and half of the Bears’ No. 2 doubles pairing alongside Purdue transfer Kennedy Gibbs. At No. 85 in the national ITA singles rankings and No. 18 among newcomers, she’s been a revelation. But it took the counsel of a longtime friend to bring her back.
Baylor secured back-to-back wins taking down New Mexico 6-1, and Rice 6-1 in a doubleheader inside the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Facility on Sunday.
Golf
Following an encouraging start to the fall season with a third-place finish in San Antonio, Baylor men’s golf will take on the toughest field of its season so far at the Fighting Illini Invitational, which begins Friday at Olympia Fields Country Club.
