In February, the NCAA announced a change in participation for transgender student-athletes following the Trump Administration’s executive orders. This new policy allows only student-athletes assigned female at birth to compete in women’s sports, while the men’s category is open to both.
Baylor football is set to host the Baylor Blitz, a youth skills challenge and open practice, in place of the annual Green & Gold spring game to cap off spring camp on Saturday, April 26 at McLane Stadium.

Baylor men’s basketball walked off the court at the Foster Pavilion to roaring applause and singing as John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” blasted over the speakers following the Bears’ 74-71 win over West Virginia in overtime.
The Bears are currently .500 against the top three quadrants. A win over the Mountaineers would be an important addition to their Tournament case.
Women's Basketball
Baylor women’s basketball is off to its best start to conference play under head coach Nicki Collen through eight games, but the Bears find themselves needing a pick-me-up when they take on UCF at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando.
For the first time in 35 years, No. 9 TCU women’s basketball knocked off rival No. 25 Baylor, 80-75, after the Bears’ attempted 22-point comeback fell just short.
“I think it’s definitely a lesson learned. We maybe didn’t do so well for this game, so we just took it to the next game and went here and out,” Littlepage-Buggs said. “We do have these next couple games coming up, and we are probably going to get really detailed about what things we could’ve done better and how to, because they have somebody tall, move with them and move the ball and where we could score at.”

Tennis
When junior Luc Koenig was a little boy in South Africa, his father, Rob Koenig, gave him a choice. Luc could do anything he wanted, or he could follow in his father’s footsteps as a professional tennis player. His father never forced tennis on him but made sure he knew that the journey to becoming a professional tennis player would be hard. Luc understood this and has taken that challenge and ran with it ever since.
