Despite rumors circulating Tuesday night, the City of Waco will not be shutting off the water supply according to a press release sent out by the city. However, in order to keep water available without mandatory boil notices or shortages for firefighting purposes, the city is asking all residents to conserve water as best they can for the next 48 hours.
Baylor announced on Tuesday that the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) would open at 4 p.m. as an emergency warming location. The center will remain open throughout the night for off-campus residents that lack power, heat or water.
Baylor has made the decision to cancel classes on Monday and Tuesday as the weather prevents students from going to campus as well as experiencing classroom instruction online.
Nursing students are serving the community and gaining experience outside the classroom through vaccine administration.
With continuous national recognition, Baylor’s entrepreneurship program plans to continue stretching the boundaries of success.
