Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the sequel brings back Ben Affleck as Christian Wolff and dives deeper into his world. This time, the long-awaited sequel runs with more humor, emotional moments and a stronger focus on his relationship with his brother, which becomes the heart of the film.

Released on April 11, this slow-burning psychological thriller doesn’t rely on predictable tropes or recycled plot lines. Instead, it offers something visually striking, emotionally intense and cinematically different. If I could rate it, I’d give it a solid four out of five stars.

The right playlist is necessary to set the tone for a day like Díadeloso. While the sun is out and classes are canceled, you’ll need the perfect songs to kick your day off right. Start this playlist in the morning before you venture around Waco, and continue to play it all throughout. I hope these tunes put you in the mood for dancing and fun.

Zeta Tau Alpha will host its annual Pie-A-Prez event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, inviting presidents from organizations across Baylor’s campus to participate by getting pied in the face on Fountain Mall. Creativity, passion and talent remain at the heart of Sing. For this year’s showcase, Seattle senior Reagan Christensen and Houston junior Camille Burton, of Zeta Tau Alpha Sing chairs, have taken the lead — working and collaborating to choreograph what they believe is a standout performance.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and I highly recommend checking out both their Union Hall and Union Grove locations. The food is flavorful, fresh and priced just right.

On Feb. 4, Moody Library will host the third meeting of its Meet the Author series. This time, the event will feature Dr. Terry York, a retired Baylor music professor, who will discuss his book, “Kurt Kaiser: Icon and Conscience of Contemporary Christian Music,” which dives into the composer’s story. During the discussion, York will be interviewed by Robert Darden, a former journalism professor, about Kaiser’s lasting impact on church music.
