The indie music world was busy this week. There’s new music from festival favorites like Declan McKenna and Noah Kahan as well as alternative pop kings Bleachers.

My mom has made traditional Filipino food for dinner ever since I was a kid. I’m half German, so our home has a pretty international palette. Her homemade food beats that of any restaurant because of her versatile twist on each meal — and, well, she’s my mom.

When Gen Z girls were kids, we ran around Justice or bought every scent of Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer. Meanwhile, boys wore those Nike socks with the black line on the back. All was right in the world. So, why are kids trying to become adults when all of us are scraping for our last bits of childhood?

Olivia Moses, assistant director of student productions, said demand is high, and purchasing tickets through the Waco Hall Ticket Office website provides the greatest chance at securing them. Take the time to sit back and ponder what college life has done for you. Whether your graduation is four months away or four years away, take a step back, breathe and allow everything to set in. Don’t let your last semester take you by surprise one day.

While the spring Welcome Weekend might be less known than its fall counterpart, it’s a beneficial time for transfers and new students to become established at Baylor, said Dr. Nathan Shelburne, director of New Student Programs.
