“The opportunity to be in fellowship with our Baptist brothers and sisters stands to cause us to be more conversant and more aware of the work that the Lord is doing through Christians, congregations, conventions and the world,” Still said.

“The application is a formative process,” Benyousky said. “Going through the process makes them think about what they are doing and what they want to do, which gives them a great formative experience that helps them in many aspects of life.”

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.

ARTS & LIFE

In asynchronous online classes, I watch videos and lectures on my own time. I have not even exchanged an email with some of those teachers. I could not describe to you what some of my professors look like or even tell you their name.

After grueling hours of preparing and studying for a test, I walked out of the test room accomplished and feeling good about myself only to hear, “You only did well on that test because you’re Asian.”
