This, in turn, is caused by the increasing social isolation felt by many adults. According to the CDC, one in three report feeling lonely, and one in four say they lack social and emotional support.
With the guidance of the Lenten Devotional series, Simpson hopes that all members of the faith will use this season as a time to grow in unity, despite differences in practice.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. It’s staycation weekend, which means it’s time to take a rest from two weeks of labor and scout out the Waco scene. Here are some activities to get you out, about and away from that assignment you’ve been stuck on.
The next time you have a free moment, put in your AirPods and play your favorite song, then everything else is just one Google search away. Every song has a story. It’s up to you to find it. Don’t be afraid to dive into the lore of your favorite songs and artists.
I hope one day H-E-B is dethroned in Waco and we can get a variety of grocery stores in the area so there’s more options in products, a reduction in crowds at all times and a less stressful time all around.
These topics are only a few chapters of the intricate history of Waco and Baylor. Take this editorial as a stepping stone to becoming more familiar with the full story and use the knowledge to help educate other people too. Put yourself in spaces where you can meet people with backgrounds and experiences unlike your own. We need to get comfortable being uncomfortable in order to keep making strides toward a more equal and just society.
Well, if you are like me and can’t afford to go somewhere, stay in Waco. It can be fun. Over spring break, there are lots to do and even if you don’t want to do any of that, stay home, sleep in and watch some new shows.
Though many of us may believe it’s time to relax, that is not the consensus for all college students. I mean, there’s dozens of movies about the notorious week in March when college students go crazy on beaches and get in all sorts of trouble.
I can’t say I’ve ever unpacked or thought about unpacking the day after getting back to school, but my personal goal is to have it done within a week. Schedule a laundry and organization day for yourself to gradually get things together.
