Sparkling gowns, high heels and heartfelt causes took center stage Tuesday night as Kappa Kappa Gamma hosted the annual Baylor Beauties pageant, meant to raise funds and awareness for Caritas of Waco.
“We’re not out to write as many reports as possible,” he said. “We’re more focused on doing life with our residents and walking with them through the college experience.”
Baylor is heavily involved with the new STEM + M program. According to Horner, there will be a liaison between Midland and Baylor. Baylor also provides Midland with the curriculum for the courses the students are taking.
Cybersecurity Club at Baylor is a club that allows students to grow in their cybersecurity knowledge and skills while also providing mentorship opportunities to its members. The club also feeds into a competition team, the Baylor Cybersecurity Team, that is nationally ranked and competes against other schools across the country.
“I think it would be good for Christians who are growing in their faith to explore this topic,” she said. “It also deepens our appreciation for what He did for us.”

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The third and shortest week of classes thus far has almost concluded. If you’re already drowning in work like I am, here are some upcoming events to ease your tired brain.
If you’re vegan or vegetarian and your diet works for you and your wallet while also making you feel healthy, that’s amazing. However, the diet and lifestyle is not feasible for everyone, and it takes money and dedication, as well as being in tune with your body and knowing its limits.
If you are grieving and struggling to process, don’t seclude yourself. Let others in. Help yourself unpack the events that have happened, whether they occurred years ago or recently. Let the calm after the storm come.
As I enter my 20s, I’m starting to figure out my style. My inspiration? Sophia Richie Grainge.
We have to stop letting our ways of relationship-building be defined by a single word. No matter which side of the pendulum you tend to sway, you have unique gifts that allow you to love others in a way only you can, and that’s more valuable than any other static personality classification you could be assigned.
All I’m saying is this: Feel free to post for your friends, because they definitely appreciate it. Make sure you’re posting for them and not for yourself. A call or a text can be just as meaningful — and often far more so.
