I see Golden Gooses everywhere on Baylor’s campus. They are a trend that can’t be ignored. I encourage everyone to use their money to buy whatever makes them happy and confident, but as for myself, I will not be partaking in this fashion statement.
In Vienna, Blackwood played in a concert hall in a castle in Innsbruck, one of which halls composer Johannes Brahms once played. During her performance there, Blackwood said she could feel the history of the music she was playing, making it her favorite performance of her life so far.

The next one has to be “Joanie” by Clairo, my personal favorite. This one’s instrumental, but Clairo really knows how to tell a story without words. She composed this song about her beloved dog Joanie, using playful piano melodies and angelic harmonies throughout. Give it a listen; it really does sound like a theme song for a puppy!
If you’re the type to cry at “Nemo” or fast forward through ASPCA commercials, prepare your tissues, but keep an open mind. “Shrinking” will cheer you up after it tears you down.
“We just all sing together, we have a great time and fellowship,” Ivey said. “We come from all walks of life and that includes Christians and non-believers and many other religions as well. It’s a place where hopefully everybody feels safe to sing and worship to the best of their ability.”
If gushy indie music is your jam, you’ll love, well, really anything by Leith Ross. “(You) On My Arm” comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s a soft, pretty song with lovely lyrics that just make the rest of us want to lie down in the street a little bit.
“[Painting] allows us to tell stories, to invite others in to have dialogue and to also talk to others that are in different timelines,” Bly said. “When I go to a museum, I feel like there’s a conversation with someone who I’ve never met, that I’ll never meet because they’re from a distant time and passed on.”
The story follows an unlikely pair — a rather melancholy young man ready to give up on his love for music and a rather stubborn, determined young woman who loves music just as much as him and isn’t ready for his songs to cease.

Throughout his years at Brooks, Sriram said he and his wife have had enlightening conversations with residents on deep topics such as relationships and marriage. By interacting with the students on this level, Sriram said he and his family serve as a sort of second family for many students.
“The biggest thing that will never go out of style is just feeling comfortable in your own skin,” Austin said. “Just finding your own personal style is really important, and wearing things that you feel comfortable in.”

His little easels held more than just the picture; they also held a message that anyone can create art.
Hong Kong sophomore Taylor Chung, secretary of ASA, said the importance of this event is to represent and share Asian heritage with the entire Baylor community. Chung said it’s important to allow students to understand and learn about this culture in a familiar environment.
“Cannonballers” transports this Texan to a sunny beach somewhere in California with sandy clothes and a sea of freckles returning to my cheeks. Do both of us a favor and listen to this entire album.
Named Angaza, which means ‘to shine’ or ‘illuminate’ in Swahili, the choir is fitting of its name, as the group has been gracing Waco with their vibrant dashikis of reds, blues and greens and their spirited performances since spring of 2022.
It only takes a flame to start a fire. For Dr. Heidi Hornik, chair of the department of art and art history, it only takes a painting to start a collection. Hanging on the wall of her office in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center is the painting that started it all.
