At the Baylor Law School, there is an emphasis on pro bono work. Students who participated in the Pro Bono Spring Break trip as part of the Texas Access to Justice Commission were able to practice law for those in need.

Concerts have become for the elite; long gone are the days when you could show up at the door, pay $50 and hope to storm the barricade. With artists like Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars smashing record sales, it has become increasingly difficult to attend concerts.
The Office of the Provost hosted its annual Female Faculty breakfast Tuesday morning to honor the contributions of female faculty to Baylor’s culture.

Baylor alumnus and long-time Waco businessman Rick Tullis won the seat for McLennan County judge in this year’s primary elections. As judge, he will replace the current Judge Scott Felton at the start of 2027.

Truett Seminary Professor Dr. Kimlyn Bender hosts a book club discussing “Destroyer of the Gods: Early Christian Distinctiveness in the Roman World” by Larry Hurtado, and explores modern Christianity with students every Saturday.

“What always resonated in my mind is what my father told me, and that is make sure that you focus on your goal, your objective, and that is to graduate and get out of there,” Baylor alumnus Michael Heiskell said. “Don’t be sidelined by others who may try to divert your attention or distract you from that purpose and goal.”
Baylor’s history is captured in its alumni and their stories, and Sarah Erwin is no exception. The 100-year-old alumna created a network of friends and family through the Baylor community, starting when she attended Baylor for her undergrad during World War II.
In light of political unrest, celebrities speak out for those who can’t. But is speaking out at award shows the best way to do so?
Baylor’s Truett Seminary will host the Annual World Women’s Day of Prayer Saturday at First Baptist Church of Waco. This year’s theme is “What Joy! Living the Good News” and is open to all women who wish to attend.
“Our philanthropy is impacting other people; it impacts everyone that walks into this room and every person that’s not in this room,” Camden, Maine, senior Ali Tassoni said. “I do think that every person, whether it’s directly or indirectly, has a relationship with mental health; it’s just cool to see that kind of impact, especially with college students.”
