“Events like these, like we’ve been doing with Levitt, and the farmer’s market, the whole point is to truly bring [Waco’s] mission to life… which is to bridge communities, to showcase artistry, talent, bring in talent, and then at the same time, create a space where everybody can connect,” Linares said.
A part of the Experiential Learning Commons on the Garden Level of Moody Memorial Library, the Moody Makerspace is open to all Baylor students, faculty and staff, with no requirements for major or classification. It houses a variety of tools available for use in personal or academic projects, including a 3D printer, a laser cutter, a computer adapter, a sewing kit, woodworking tools and more.
Our time on campus is finite, and I believe that by visiting and appreciating our museums, we can thoroughly enrich our experiences at Baylor on a personal level.
