The Board of Regents, in the face of post-pandemic inflationary pressures and rising costs, approved a 6% increase in its tuition “sticker price” — $54,844 — for the 2023-2024 school year. However, the board also approved a new program titled “Baylor Benefit,” a financial aid initiative meant to help students whose family income is less than $50,000 per year.
The epic poetry of Dante will be the topic of today’s seminar beginning at 5 p.m. in the Reading Room at Alexander Residence Hall. The Honors College will host Dr. Christian Moevs, Notre Dame Italian professor and an authority on Dante’s “The Divine Comedy.”
A memorial will be held at 4:30 p.m Thursday for Dr. Susan Colón, who passed away this summer after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year.
The memorial will take place in the Alexander Reading Room of Alexander Residence Hall.
