For college students, the pressure of balancing academic, personal and social responsibilities can lead to burnout, which can affect concentration and overall well-being. According to a 2026 survey by Crown Counseling, about 55% of college students reported experiencing burnout.
Often associated with older generations, Mahjong is gaining popularity nationwide, including right here on Baylor’s campus. After its charter was accepted last spring, Baylor’s Mahjong club is introducing a new generation of players to the game through open play, beginner workshops and opportunities for deeper connection.
