Members of Baylor’s African-American community can soon expect to see themselves represented on campus in a new way, thanks to a developing multicultural student organization.

Blast barrier walls topped with barbed wire snake across the Iraqi capital, encircling government buildings like a fortress and enshrining the separation of neighborhoods increasingly divided by religious sect.

Four hundred elementary school children gathered Thursday in Fountain Mall on the Baylor campus. Delta Epsilon Psi welcomed kids from Brook Avenue Elementary and J.H. Hines Elementary as part of Project Come Together, a field day they organize for children in these two low-performance and underprivileged elementary schools of Waco ISD.

After trailing 3-1 heading into the fifth inning, Sam Houston State struck for four runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth. The six-run outpour proved to be too much for Baylor to overcome on Tuesday night, as the Bears fell 7-5.

From foundational stars to generational icons, Baylor women’s basketball has produced no shortage of greatness over the past 25 years. These five players did more than fill up stat sheets; they helped shape the standard of excellence that defines the program.
