Baylor’s 2025 United Way Campaign celebrates 100 years of United Way of Waco-McLennan County giving back to the McLennan County community. To celebrate and honor this accomplishment, the name for Baylor’s campaign this year is “100 for 100!” and the goal is to raise $100,000 among the Baylor community.

“Events like these, like we’ve been doing with Levitt, and the farmer’s market, the whole point is to truly bring [Waco’s] mission to life… which is to bridge communities, to showcase artistry, talent, bring in talent, and then at the same time, create a space where everybody can connect,” Linares said.

After a successful first camping trip in October, Kamp Love at Baylor is seeking to expand its ministry by combining love for the gospel with love for the outdoors — all for the greater purpose of cultivating campus unity and lifting up the name of Jesus.

As this new school year begins, let us never forget why the students before us picked the historic colors of green and gold that represent our beloved university. Baylor is built on the foundations of tradition, family and Christ, and it is known for its wonderful green and gold. Let us continue to fight for our gold.
