At the end of a hall in the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative is the Point of Need Innovation Center. Inside the 5,000 square foot space are an array of massive machines, tools made out of moon soil and researchers set on changing the way manufacturing happens.

Your GPA will get your resume through the applicant tracking system software, but it will lead to little-to-no growth in your network if you don’t have proof of applying the “hard skills” the company is looking for.
Knowing this doesn’t magically solve your problems, and it certainly doesn’t make life any easier. The struggles you face will be present regardless of this knowledge. But “life sucks, and then you die” can serve as a reminder that you’ve been here before, you will be here again, and, despite that, you’re still standing.
