As the first day of fall quickly approaches, it’s time to get into the spooky season spirit with vintage shopping, fall markets and paranormal sightings. Here are the best of Waco events and activities this week.

So, was it unbearably hot? Absolutely. Did I wait for three hours? You bet. Was it worth it? Without a doubt. The Baylor Line is not just about running to hype up the football team; it’s about camaraderie, tradition and the unforgettable memories and friends you make along the way.

“We always kind of talk about how you have to go down before you go up,” Aranda said. “It’s easier to talk about than to go through that. But that’s where we’re at. Texas State shocked Baylor football with an upset win over the weekend, but the Bears know just how tough their next opponent is. The Utes will be rolling into Waco following 10 days of rest to clash with Baylor for a first-ever matchup. Both teams are dealing with injuries to their starting quarterbacks. The Bears will be without redshirt junior quarterback Blake Shapen for two to three weeks with an MCL injury, while Utah is monitoring star senior quarterback Cam Rising’s status.

Since the mid ’90s, the tradition has morphed into something much larger than anyone could have imagined.
