    Lariat TV News: Remembering the Immortal 10, School of Education gets a new name and Women’s Basketball keeps the streak alive

    This week we talk to you about an author who shares the legacy of Baylor’s Immortal 10.

    The Moody Foundation gives $30 million to Baylor, giving the school of education a new name.

    And Baylor women’s basketball keeps the streak alive with its eighth straight conference win.

    Irma Peña is a senior from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in criminal justice. She is excited to be part of the Lariat TV News staff as the Managing Editor. She loves to spend time with family and friends, watch soccer and any rom-com shows or movies. After graduation, she hopes to continue her career as a reporter/multimedia journalist.

    Claire-Marie Scott is a junior Broadcast Journalism and Corporate Communication double major from Austin, Texas. Outside of The Lariat, Claire Marie loves to cook, hang out with friends, enjoy a nice coffee from her favorite Waco spot, For Keeps, and dive deeper into her faith.
