No. 12 Baylor women’s basketball bolstered its roster with the addition of Florida transfer Aliyah Matharu. The fifth-year guard signed with the Bears on Sunday, making her eligible to wear the green and gold during Big 12 play.
Some people play with their food, but for a team as hungry as No. 12 Baylor women’s basketball, an exhibition match was a perfect time to feast. Bolting out of the gates with the first 11 points of the game, the Bears never looked back and steamrolled Langston, 100-39, in an exhibition match on Sunday afternoon at the Foster Pavilion.

Golf
Baylor men’s golf is coming off its best tournament finish since 2020. Its roster is more competitive than it was last year, and with golfers stepping up, head coach Mike McGraw said in Big 12 Matchplay, it will be time to “let the clubs do the talking.”
Thanks to a trifecta of 3-under 69’s from seniors Luke Dossey, Tyler Isenhart and Johnny Keefer, Baylor men’s golf capped off the Trinity Forest Invitational with a third place finish on Tuesday in Dallas.
Silje Ohma tied a school record with a 65 to lead Baylor women’s golf to a fifth-place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla. Monday.
