The tradition of fraternity sweethearts and little sisses has been passed down for decades, as many women have served in the role and still do today at Baylor. From baking cookies to serving as homecoming queen nominees, they do so much to serve and represent their fraternities well, and the love and care fraternities show them can last a lifetime.

As Waco prepares to welcome a projected 100,000 visitors on Monday for Eclipse Over Texas, this year’s Diadeloso will be a uniquely busy one. But with all the buzz and excitement comes some confusion and questions. Here’s what you need to know about how the day is going to work.

Such reports are based on professional feedback, not classroom experience. Regardless, Dr. Christopher Richmann said he thinks classroom involvement is just as vital and bleeds into the community indirectly. That classroom experience is where the Academy for Teaching and Learning becomes a tool for professors, teaching the skills they don’t acquire in graduate school.

Being a student-athlete is difficult. We have to worry about academics, performance, health and the list goes on. But think about adding this pandemic to these stresses and how much they can affect a student-athlete mentally and physically.

Taking classes outside of my major to fulfill degree requirements lead to some of my favorite Baylor memories. I believe these requirements ultimately made me savvy in several areas, and I am so grateful for that.
