    Lariat TV News: Eclipse preparation, ATO to Pigskin and Freshman of the Year

    We’re showing you how one staff member is celebrating Women’s History Month from the top of Patt Neff Hall and how the City of Waco is preparing for the eclipse.

    After a “tabulation error,” one additional act is going to Pigskin and one fraternity found a unique way to break a sweat, cool down and raise some money along the way.

    In sports, Baylor men’s basketball is fighting through the Big 12 tournament and Ja’Kobe Walter is the Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

    Kaity Kempf

    Kaity Kempf is a senior from Temple, Texas. She is on her way to graduating with a major in journalism and concentration in advertising, as well as a minor in french. This is her third year working with LTVN, and first time being managing editor after years of reporting and anchoring. She also works with the local broadcast news station, KWTX News 10. She is excited to cover all things Baylor and close out her senior year with her team.
