Over the weekend, LTVN held the first ever Student Government Presidential Debate and yesterday, the broadcasting group hosted a watch party in the Bill Daniel Student Center.
“I think this is a huge occasion,” said presidential candidate Joel Polvado. “The fact that The Lariat could put this together, get all these people to show up and watch these two incredible candidates.”
He also said, “It’s cool and really weird to watch yourself on camera but I think this was a great opportunity.”
Students will have the opportunity to vote for between the two candidates starting April 6th through 7th.
