School of Social Work displays art by Texas children with disabilities
First-through 12th-grade Texas students with disabilities have been given the chance to display their artwork at the Baylor School of Social Work. The school partnered with Artsonia.com, a website that archives student art pieces from around the world to create an exhibit showing how students with disabilities view the world.
School of Social Work hosts events for International Social Work Day
Baylor School of Social Work will be celebrating International Social Work Day with a food tasting and panel discussion today from noon to 3 p.m. today. The events, which are open to the public, will be held on the second floor of The School of Social Work, located at 811 Washington Ave.
PBS to air film on Texas Hunger Initative, partners

At 8 p.m. today, PBS will air “Feeding the Minds: Texas Takes On Hunger and Obesity,” a documentary featuring Baylor School of Social Work’s Texas Hunger Initiative. The documentary will discuss the issue of hunger in Texas by highlighting the efforts of the Texas Hunger Initiative and its partners.
