In her first season with No. 4 Baylor women’s basketball and her last in college, senior center Aaronette Vonleh stole the show during the weeks leading up to March Madness. In the second-ever meeting between the two teams, the green and gold came up short while trying to make up for a 4-1 loss to the Toreros in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Despite dropping the doubles point, the Bears made a statement and won the first set on all six courts before San Diego staged a comeback.
Baylor earned the doubles point for the fourth time in as many matches in a thorough victory over Nebraska.
When junior Luc Koenig was a little boy in South Africa, his father, Rob Koenig, gave him a choice. Luc could do anything he wanted, or he could follow in his father’s footsteps as a professional tennis player. His father never forced tennis on him but made sure he knew that the journey to becoming a professional tennis player would be hard. Luc understood this and has taken that challenge and ran with it ever since.

Thanks to a trifecta of 3-under 69’s from seniors Luke Dossey, Tyler Isenhart and Johnny Keefer, Baylor men’s golf capped off the Trinity Forest Invitational with a third place finish on Tuesday in Dallas.
Silje Ohma tied a school record with a 65 to lead Baylor women’s golf to a fifth-place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla. Monday.
Baylor women’s golf lost some star talent over the offseason, but the refreshed roster may have what it takes to succeed as they head to Norman, Okla., for the Sooner Fall Classic Saturday.
