“City of Waco crews are on the Baylor campus to repair a city water main break on the east side of Pat Neff Hall (facing Waco Hall). To make repairs, the city crews have had to shut off a main water valve, which has resulted in no water service to Pat Neff Hall, Carroll Science, Draper Academic Building and Memorial/Alexander,” the email alert said.
“Maybe students feel uncomfortable when they get one, but that is not the purpose at all,” Pittman said. “The purpose is to encourage that students to go and seek the help they need to maybe do time management a little better or get some supplemental instruction.”
“As we appreciate our campus and all of the good things that come from it, we really want to instill in our students that is such an important part of society to give back,” Lynch said.
“It’s been wonderful seeing the Lord work through students lives in that sense … revealing the opportunity that prayer presents and how you can find peace from it,” Barberena said. “You can see it working through the students as well — the way that they treat each other, the kindness and love that everybody shows for each other. You can see it in the way that we are a Chapel team.”
Charles Ramsey, director for Chapel and Campus Ministries, said this year, FM72 will take place from Mar. 19 to Mar. 22. The event will have a designated prayer schedule for each hour and the leaders of each prayer will contribute an array of different methods.
