A young man whose cellphone video put a South Carolina police officer in jail on a murder charge said Wednesday that he gave the recording to the dead man’s family because if it was his relative who was killed, he “would have liked to know the truth.”

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted on all charges Wednesday in the Boston Marathon bombing by a jury that will now decide whether the 21-year-old should be executed for what his lawyer says was a crime masterminded by his big brother.

The Business Resource Center will hold four community meetings throughout Waco next week to gather insight about updates to Imagine Waco, the plan for development in greater downtown Waco.

“Certain programs will offer classes that fit certain majors,” Whitlark said. “They’re like the one I do. We offer BIC courses, Great Texts courses and religion courses. So, if you’re looking for credits in those areas or you’re interested in those classes that we’re leading in, [choosing our program] is a great opportunity.”

Parking Services confirmed the overselling of permits to Lot 30 on 7th Street and James Ave., but is taking steps to minimize fallout from the error.
Director of Parking and Transportation Services Matt Penney said that the new system glitched while distributing permits, causing the oversell.

For now, though, Nair said he is working his way to the top. On Sept. 6, he will be DJing at the Backyard, where he has performed before. Nair said the last time he DJed there, he had one of his best DJing experiences yet. As the headliner with 1300 attendees, he’s eager to return.
