Without wheels, suddenly we’re stranded. We’re met with the inability to do things, like visit the store and go out to eat, without taking an Uber, ordering delivery or getting a ride from a friend.

I understand you’re probably tired at 8 a.m. and would rather scroll on Instagram than talk to the person next to you, but the effort is so worth it.

Everyone has their preference when it comes to taking notes, but I believe we shouldn’t be restricted on the form of media we take notes on. Let’s give computers another chance in the classroom.

Besides the fact Baylor’s campus is incredibly beautiful and offers plenty of outdoor study spaces, spending time outside holds many benefits to your well-being.

I’ve always been a proud owner of a library card. Honestly, it was one of the biggest things I missed about my hometown. It never crossed my mind to look into getting one in Waco until I checked my bank account and realized most of my paycheck was going toward books.

I’ve seen competition bring people together in miraculous ways, unifying them under the bond of wanting to win. It turns individuals into teammates, while unexpected leaders often rise to the top, rallying people together toward a common goal.

During these last two months of school, I feel more pressured to go out with my friends every weekend because I want to spend as much time with them as possible before we all part ways for three months.

How are we supposed to enjoy our break from school when we have to prepare for school during our break?

The next time you have a free moment, put in your AirPods and play your favorite song, then everything else is just one Google search away. Every song has a story. It’s up to you to find it. Don’t be afraid to dive into the lore of your favorite songs and artists.

I hope one day H-E-B is dethroned in Waco and we can get a variety of grocery stores in the area so there’s more options in products, a reduction in crowds at all times and a less stressful time all around.

Well, if you are like me and can’t afford to go somewhere, stay in Waco. It can be fun. Over spring break, there are lots to do and even if you don’t want to do any of that, stay home, sleep in and watch some new shows.

Though many of us may believe it’s time to relax, that is not the consensus for all college students. I mean, there’s dozens of movies about the notorious week in March when college students go crazy on beaches and get in all sorts of trouble.

I can’t say I’ve ever unpacked or thought about unpacking the day after getting back to school, but my personal goal is to have it done within a week. Schedule a laundry and organization day for yourself to gradually get things together.

I understand social media is a gadget that allows us to inform others about what we’re up to, but know that “college student” and “spring break” don’t mix well, especially in the eyes of those who are not in college.

Only 20% of colleges across the U.S. have the same 2023 spring break dates as Baylor, with the remaining 80% having their break planned for later.

Public restrooms should serve to welcome and suit the needs of anyone who uses them. That’s why institutions like Baylor hire staff to restock soap and toilet paper and to keep the facilities clean. Baylor should do the same for the women on campus by providing free and accessible feminine products in the bathrooms.

Baylor should invest in charging stations for electric vehicles on campus as they are quickly becoming the future.

I make it my mission to take the best photo possible when I’m out in nature, and I usually receive a lot of comments which sum up to “just enjoy the moment.”

In the broadcast booth or on the sideline, my genuine love for sports will shine through until the day I fade away, but if I was 6-foot-anything, I would be a star.

When people talk about others, it influences your perception and bias about the subject of gossip. Gossip destroys reputations and gives subjects of gossip a disadvantage before people know them.

In high school, seniors get the first row of the bleachers in games; in professional spaces the senior level employees typically have more influence and power; even senior citizens get discounts at places like the zoo or movie theaters. When it comes to milestone Baylor traditions like Sing, seniors should also be treated special.

But alas, tickets sell out in minutes. I’m happy they do, but I truly have to contemplate if I’m able to “splurge” on the price of them. This year, they were upwards of $30 for students and the general public.

I see it in so many different facets, but it’s time to stop being hypocritical.

We perceive God with whatever makes sense to us, but deliberately altering the image of God to whatever you please is not something that I think most Christians can get behind.

COVID-19 will hopefully turn into a thing of the past, and we won’t have to dictate our lives off of it anymore. It is finally time to drop the needless policies in some areas along with the many controversies involving the pandemic.

Someone will always be better than you and there is no getting around that. Rather than viewing yourself as inferior, learn from those that are better than you and really pick their brains and their work.

Getting its claim to fame from TikTok, a “hot girl walk” is the term used to describe a long walk that helps people stay active and think positively about themselves while getting fresh air. As an added bonus, they are a good confidence booster.

To help solve the overpopulation issues at local animal shelters, a very simple solution is to bring in and take care of a cat as one of your pets.
