Tot Talbert, the current owner of Show and Tell Antiques, said the building has a fascinating history, from its original use as Lazenby’s home to its transformation into an antique shop in the ’50s. For decades, the space has been a haven for antique lovers, passed down through generations, and today, Talbert and her family continue to preserve its legacy.

As the weather starts to become bearable again, Waco has lots to offer to get you out of your residence hall or apartment and out on the town. From pumpkin patches to football, theater and live music, here’s what’s going on this week in Waco.

First, it’s of utmost importance to have something to sip on in my cupholder at all times. When I drive back home on break, I make sure to stop by the Whataburger in the Grease Pit for an ice-cold Dr Pepper before I get to moving down I-35.

Few things define Waco as much as Dr Pepper does. It has been a staple in Waco since its creation where the drink was created in the 1880s.
