Baylor attracts students from around the world, offering academic opportunities and a diverse campus community. International students have their own experiences adjusting to life at Baylor, from navigating a new culture to finding support through campus resources and student organizations.

The festival, hosted by Cultural Arts of Waco, runs from Friday to Sunday and includes a WordFest, ScienceFest, ArtsFest and a film showcase. Many of the events will take place around and inside the Waco Convention Center at various times that are clarified on their website.

Through the Baylor and Beyond Living-Learning Community, North Russell Hall is home to a majority of Baylor’s first-year international students. People from all around the world call “No-Ro” home their freshman year.

Branching out takes patience and consistency. Making friends in college is a process of trial and error. You are going to meet people who are vastly different from you, but despite those differences, you are going to find friends you connect with.
