Following an executive order signed by the Trump Administration, the NCAA Board of Governors voted to open men’s sports to all eligible student-athletes and restrict the women’s category to only student-athletes assigned female at birth. The NCAA announced Thursday that the policy is effective immediately and applies to all student-athletes regardless of previous eligibility rules.

Men's Basketball
Big 12 basketball produced a nation-high percentage of teams on both the men’s and the women’s side in 2022-23.
Baylor basketball was represented well by its freshmen this season, as the Big 12 Conference named freshman guard Keyonte George and freshman forward Darianna Littlepage-Buggs the Big 12 Freshman of the Year for their respective sides.
Selflessness and leadership are two words that can be used to describe No. 11 third-seeded Baylor men’s basketball redshirt senior guard Adam Flagler. In what is potentially Flagler’s final year as a Bear, he’s helped the Bears in a multitude of ways throughout his four years with the program.
