Men's Basketball

Women's Basketball
The Bears overcame an 18-point deficit to defeat the Crimson Tide, 78-74, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, in Gampel Pavilion, in Storrs, Conn.

Equestrian
The No. 2 Baylor equestrian team defeated Delaware State 16-4 Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco. The Bears record improved to 3-2 overall in their first meet of the spring semester.
On Sunday, February 2, Katherine Berg placed second in The Sun Circuit Shootout in Scottsdale, Ariz.
“I made a rookie mistake that ultimately cost me the win,” Berg said, “I was miserable and disappointed that I let my team down but more so because I didn’t even put up a fight.”
Baylor is ranked No. 1 in the latest NCEA Rankings after jumping up three spots in Monday’s NCEA Rankings.
The Bears are 5-1 on the season and their last event was a 12-8 win over Oklahoma State on Oct. 26. The three teams ranked ahead of Baylor all lost since the last NCEA poll was released on Oct. 25. As a result, the Bears jumped to the No. 1 spot in the rankings.
Tennis
After playing No. 11 University of Texas and No. 3 Texas Christian University this weekend, Baylor men’s tennis finds itself with one win and one loss in conference play.
After transferring to Baylor, Isabella Harvison a junior from California, has taken Baylor’s top singles spot. Court one allows her the opportunity to claim big wins.
After a long stretch of away matches, No. 9 Baylor men’s tennis returns on April 3 to the Hurd Tennis Center to face Texas Christian University.
Golf
Walking around a golf course on a beautiful day, you might hear Taylor Swift overflowing from a pair of headphones.
Women’s golf, ranked 23rd, barely missed winning their third consecutive tournament, placing second Tuesday for their last tournament of the fall season at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio. Men’s golf, ranked 28th, finished sixth at the fourth annual Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas.
Men’s golf, which is ranked 18th, finished fifth Tuesday at the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio, and senior Joakim Mikkelsen finished second.
