When a scooter is reported stolen, officers enter its information into state and national databases. If another agency, such as the Waco Police Department, recovers the device and runs the serial number, it will appear as stolen and can be returned to the owner.

Early voting turnout for the 2026 Texas primary elections has surged to levels never before seen in a midterm cycle, with statewide total turnout on pace to more than double the figures recorded during the 2022 primaries.

“When we lift these stories up, we bear witness to the truth of the Gospel and invite others to do the same,” said Dr. Erik W. The low hum of steel guitars and neon-lit nostalgia will soon echo through Foster Pavilion. On Oct. 2, Baylor will trade sneakers and basketballs for cowboy boots and two-stepping when rising country artist Braxton Keith brings his high-and-lonesome Texas sound to Waco with the “Real Damn Deal” tour.

Waco’s former premier sporting venue hosted professional baseball teams, historic integration games and even the town’s first presidential visit. Its legacy, though tainted, tells the story of the town it called home.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.

What is struggle if not the deciding point between failure and success? It is at this inflection point where I believe indispensable value is found. A value that doesn’t only pertain to a moment, but transcends that moment and becomes a life lesson.

What seems like the most reasonable answer to this commission problem is to reduce the number of agents in the market, allowing brokers to make fair compensation while homebuyers and sellers aren’t victim to inflated commission rates.

On a campus that preaches “love thy neighbor,” it’s worth asking what that really means. Loving your neighbor doesn’t just mean smiling at the people who look like you or go to the same church as you. It means stepping outside of your comfort zone and even loving thy neighbor, even if that neighbor has pink hair and a nose ring.

When it comes to finding a place on campus to study, research or even just relax with a book, Baylor students have no shortage of spots to go to. The music world has resorted to the goal of being popular on TikTok or using samples. Music is now in need of innovation as more artists and bands conform to molds and standards to get famous.

The opportunity to attend renowned academic universities in America is a privilege, but the removal of unbiased K-12 history education is a tragedy. The people who change the world are those who know and learn from history. If we continue with this standard, we risk reliving and rewriting it.
