“Certain programs will offer classes that fit certain majors,” Whitlark said. “They’re like the one I do. We offer BIC courses, Great Texts courses and religion courses. So, if you’re looking for credits in those areas or you’re interested in those classes that we’re leading in, [choosing our program] is a great opportunity.”
Browsing: Study abroad fair
Baylor in New Zealand, a faculty-led summer study abroad program, has increased its course offerings this year to include both English and film classes. The deadline to apply is March 1, and students who are interested can attend the Study Abroad Fair from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday in the Barfield Drawing Room.
The Center for Global Engagement hosted its Study Abroad Fair during Dr Pepper Hour on Tuesday, ahead of the Oct. 1 deadline for winter programs.
The Center for Global Engagement made the fair the one stop students need to make in order to move forward in the application process. The fair included the program booths, an information session and study abroad advising all in one place.
Students walking through the SUB’s Barfield Drawing Room today for their weekly Dr Pepper float will find the room full of booths representing Baylor study abroad opportunities.
There will be more than 80 programs featured in the 2012 Fall Study Abroad Fair sponsored by the Center for International Education. It will be held in conjunction with the Dr Pepper Hour from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room.
