From requesting to change a final exam time to going to the Success Center, there are a variety of options for students to prepare for finals week.
Dr. Dave Bridge, associate professor of political science, said the class focuses on the institutions, rules and history of elections. When Bridge taught the class during the 2020 presidential election, around 250 students were enrolled.
Baylor’s traditional chapel offering — large-scale student gatherings in Waco Hall — has been scattered into a variety of “calling and career” options in recent years, as the chapel department pushes to personalize the chapel experience. The result: more than four dozen options, including everything from Aviation Chapel to Eastern Orthodox Morning Prayers.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.

The low hum of steel guitars and neon-lit nostalgia will soon echo through Foster Pavilion. On Oct. 2, Baylor will trade sneakers and basketballs for cowboy boots and two-stepping when rising country artist Braxton Keith brings his high-and-lonesome Texas sound to Waco with the “Real Damn Deal” tour.
We have the accommodations in place. Simply do not take them away from those who need them. To do so would be catastrophic for the progress that has been made.
As a hurting but empowered community, we call on Baylor to better recognize and provide spaces for the AAPI community. We want justice, and we need it yesterday.
The couple not only demonstrated wisdom in allowing time to distance themselves from the initial separation, but they have continued to protect those who hurt them out of respect and love. Harry and Meghan serve as an example to people all over the world for those who have been blatantly wronged by others.
If I was going out all the time and got the virus, and I brought it back to my friends and all their friends, I’d be sending them all to quarantine. I’m kindly asking that people stop giving me a hard time for saying no to the party of the night and just respect my decision without badgering me for an explanation.
Of those who qualify for the COVID-19 vaccine, some have decided to hold off to let those “sicker than them” get the vaccine first. Although incredibly kind, this practice is hindering the public more than it’s helping.
I think in our society, so entrenched in a mixture of beliefs in Christian salvation and neoliberal ideals, we trick ourselves into believing that we’re safer if someone else does the dirty work.
