With 11 different off-campus apartment complexes and dozens of individual homes in its real estate portfolio, Baylor houses far more than the 39% of students who live on campus, and the number is growing.

Described as “nostalgic” at best and “elderly” at worst, residents of Dawson and Allen often felt their residence hall was more like Grandma’s house than a college dorm. But after 60 years of housing Baylor students, Grandma’s place just got a $44 million facelift, and probably even a handful of organ transplants.
“It’s such a robust, multi-pronged kind of approach to community development and helping students be successful,” Engblom said. “It helps [students] feel like Baylor is their home away from home.”
Pepper spray is one of the most common self defense items — especially for women — because of its versatility and affordability. However, according to the Baylor Guide to Community Living, pepper spray is prohibited in all residence halls.
With summer rapidly approaching and finals on the horizon, preparation for residence hall move-out has begun. The Campus Living and Learning team has provided guidelines for students moving out of on-campus residence halls in the upcoming weeks.
To the students, faculty and staff who may be unaware of the directory or what personal information is released, I encourage you to hide personal information that does not need to be available to others. By doing so, you can eliminate any risks to you or your family.
