When people talk about the “college experience,” they usually think about late-night study sessions, game days or the freedom of living away from home for the first time. But if you ask anyone who looks back fondly on their time at Baylor, chances are they’ll tell you their most meaningful memories came not from the classroom, but from the clubs and organizations they joined.

From building off-road performance vehicles to attending national conventions with hundreds of job recruiters present, the clubs at Baylor help students perfect the areas they are studying by giving them real-world experiences.
“It’s such a robust, multi-pronged kind of approach to community development and helping students be successful,” Engblom said. “It helps [students] feel like Baylor is their home away from home.”
While looking back on all my involvements, I can confidently say that I have no regrets participating in my weird mix of activities. I hope my fellow Bears can also say they have no regrets — not because they are limiting themselves but because they are experiencing as many things as possible.
