The U.S Basketball Writers Association and Associated Press both named sophomore forward Nina Davis an All-American on Tuesday. It’s Baylor’s fifth straight season to have a player named, as Davis joins Odyssey Sims (2012-14) and Brittney Griner (2011-13).

After breezing past the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Baylor women’s basketball heads to Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla. The last time Baylor played on this stage at this venue, disaster struck. This regional tournament is a shot at redemption.

The No. 5 Lady Bears easily handled 15-seed Northwestern State Friday afternoon at the Ferrell Center by a score of 77-36. Baylor switched on the cruise control after jumping out to an early double-digit lead over the Lady Demons.
